Lesley Lee

DIRECTOR, DANCE & DRAMA TUTOR
Lesley Lee graduated from Unitec with a Bachelor of Performing & Screen Arts in 2003, and has since taught drama to young kids and adults. She has established a dance and drama company that has brought a new energy and enthusiasm into the community — Activate Dance & Drama. Lesley has written, directed and produced plays to a professional standard, specifically for the ages four to seventeen years, and believes in giving every child the opportunity to shine. She enjoys creating a spontaneous and exciting atmosphere within her classes and is privileged to see young kids become equipped for stage and for life through her teaching.

Amy Brown

DANCE & DRAMA TUTOR
Amy has been dancing for 17 years and has covered gymnastics, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and hip hop. Amy spent her teen years involved with dance and drama and has lots of hands-on experience working with children of all ages.

Through Activate, Amy has written plays, directed scenes for the shows and has started the very first Activate pre-school class, which is flourishing due to her passion to see children grow to their full potential in both drama and dance.

Amy is committed to valuing each child as unique and allowing them to develop their performance potential.

Delwyne Green

DANCE & DRAMA TUTOR
Delwyne has been dancing from a very young age, with over 17 years of experience in dance. Whilst pursuing a love of contemporary and hip-hop dance, Delwyne has received her Solo Seal Diploma for Jazz, completed the R.A.D vocational examination for ballet (up to Intermediate level), and completed the R.A.D syllabus in ballet through to Grade 8. She has been a lead choreographer for a number of local shows, competitions and high school productions. Styles included musical theatre, contemporary, jazz and hip-hop.

Delwyne has also been involved in drama from a young age; for which her achievements produced awards, scholarships and top marks throughout her high school years. In 2006, Delwyne completed an advanced certificate in performance music, dance and drama at the Excel School of Performing Arts, here in Auckland. Her high standard of performance produced top results in each field. Delwyne loves imparting her knowledge and skills of Performing Arts to aspiring young children.

Celeste Corrin

DANCE & DRAMA TUTOR
Celeste has been dancing hip hop for about 7 years now, belonging to the Hardcore Dance Company in her younger years and most recently, Dancefit Studio in Gisborne. She has coached younger hip hop teams for two years to prepare them for regional and national competitions. Celeste has competed in many team Hip Hop NZCAF regional’s and nationals and collected many places over the years. She is also very passionate about drama and is pursuing tertiary opportunities in Auckland in this area.
